Welcome to Bibleclub. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Bibleclub mobile application ("App"), operated by Bibleclub ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Bibleclub. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that do not meet this age requirement.
You may sign up using Google or email authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
Bibleclub provides access to Bible text for in-app reading. The World English Bible (WEB) and King James Version (KJV) texts are in the public domain. Other Bible versions may be linked to external applications for reading. We do not claim ownership of any Bible text. All Scripture quotations are provided for personal, non-commercial reading and study purposes.
Bibleclub allows you to create and share reflections, posts, replies, and other content ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. By posting User Content, you grant Bibleclub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely in connection with operating and providing the App.
You are solely responsible for your User Content. You agree not to post content that is unlawful, harassing, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or that we find inappropriate, without prior notice.
Bibleclub enables you to create and join reading groups, share reflections, react to posts, and reply to other users. You agree to interact with others respectfully and in accordance with these Terms. Group administrators may moderate content within their groups. We are not responsible for content posted by other users within groups.
Group administrators may create reading plans that assign Bible chapters on a schedule. Completion of reading plans is tracked within the App. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of reading plan features and are not liable for any loss of reading progress data.
You agree not to: (a) use the App for any illegal purpose; (b) harass, bully, or intimidate other users; (c) post spam, misleading content, or unsolicited promotions; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems; (e) use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App; (f) interfere with or disrupt the App's operation; or (g) impersonate any person or entity.
The App, including its design, features, code, and branding (excluding User Content and public-domain Bible text), is owned by Bibleclub and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bibleclub shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms within the App or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
